...By the Way...
...as with so many things, buying on the internet has its occasional hick-ups.
One of the notorious ones is that you see an item you absolutely, desparately need to have...you found it, it's the right price, and it's available (it's on a website, so it must be, right?). You click order, enter all what is asked of you, send and, voila, in seconds
you have a confirmation (and your credit card lost some fat, too) and then...what? For a long time nothing.
...I guarantee
that you will receive an Email within 24 hours that reconfirms which item you ordered, tells you that it is (or when it is) available and when it will be shipped...and what it costs you in Shipping & Handling...and when you can expect it to arrive.
...You can count on that...

Shipping & Handling:
Our Shopping Cart tells you which shipping options are
available for the products we sell and will calculate the postage for your order
once you have entered your address (to check only, enter your town and zip, make
your shipping selection and click on APPLY). Please note, however, that if you
inadvertently enter Media Mail but ordered things other than books, you'll be charged accordingly (and vice versa). If you order a mix, books and things,
and want everything in one box, they will be shipped by either Priority or
Parcel Post (we will attempt to work out whether there is an advantage for you
if the items are shipped separately but that depends on how busy we are with
other things).
The matrix maxes out at 12 lbs for Media, Priority and
Parcel Post (domestic), at 2.5 lbs for Global Priority Large Envelope and at 4
lbs for Global Priority variable weight, for domestic shipments that go beyond
that weight we will add to the charge; it is physically impossible with the
products we have to get more than 2.5 lbs into a Global Priority envelope...4
lbs is the MAXIMUM allowed for Global Priority variable weight. If you exceed
that weight we will inform you...and give you the rate for Air Parcel Post. You
then can decide which way (and if) you want the stuff.
